We believe that every event deserves to be special, memorable, affordable and stress-free! Our goal is to provide you with music, emceeing, lighting and other audio and visual options so that you can have the special day you've always dreamed.

Whether it's your wedding reception, a corporate event, or another special day, we help you plan the day and execute the plan so that you can relax and enjoy your event!  You can rely on us to work with you effectively and honestly so we can alleviate the stress and fears that come with planning a big event.

Our approach is simple - We provide "Elegant Fun!"  We work with you to prepare a plan and then we execute it on your behalf so you get to relax and have fun knowing the plan we put together will get done.  When the party music starts, we know enough to shut up and let the music talk.  Our goal is to encourage ALL of your guests to join in the fun.  This means that we don't cater to just the latest music.  It also means you won't get oldies all night or bored to death by too many slow songs.  We keep our eyes on the floor so that we create a great mix of music designed to get everyone involved.

We aren't salesmen.  There is no pressure, no sales, and no up-selling.  If you like what you hear from us, great!  If you don't think we are the right fit, that's ok, too.  We want all of our clients completely comfortable with their decision.

Our History

Music Mixers Entertainment started over 25 years ago.  Based in Narragansett, RI, we support the Rhode Island, Massachusetts, and Connecticut areas providing DJ and audio/visual solutions designed to exceed your expectations.  Music Mixers is the only company in RI whose principal partners hold college degrees in Theatre.  We understand "the show must go on!"  We also know that each event is unique.  We have one chance to perform our role at your event.  We take that responsibility seriously as you are placing your faith in us to do the best we can to help ensure you have a wonderful event.

Our focus over the last 15+ years has been on weddings and corporate events.  We spend most of our year helping people like you plan a memorable event. We know most of you don't do this everyday.  You can rely on us to help make the process as easy as we can and reduce the stress associated with putting an event together.  We work effectively with your other vendors with the one goal of creating a great day for our clients.

Our Team


R. Jason Citrone

Jason is the owner of Music Mixers.  In addition to managing the business aspects of the company, Jason is a skilled DJ with over 25 years experience.  With an BFA in Theatrical Design, Jason brings a wealth of knowledge on lighting and sound implementation.  Under Jason's leadership, Music Mixers continues to receive fantastic feedback both online and in letters and cards.  Your first experience will be with Jason.  He'll let you know about our availability and help you to determine the best options for your day given your desires and budget.

In addition, Jason has been a member of the Narragansett Lions for over 20 years. He and his wife have a daughter who may someday become part of the Music Mixers team.


Seann Jackson

Seann has been with Music Mixers for over 20 years.  After meeting Jason in college, Seann joined Music Mixers as a DJ to help supplement his income.  Since that time, Seann's responsibilities now include serving as Jason's business partner helping with Marketing, Sales, and business operations.

Seann brings the style of "Elegant Fun" to every event he serves.  Like Jason, Seann makes sure to provide an upbeat environment while making certain that he doesn't take over your event.  Our belief is that we are here to help create a day for you and your guests keeping the focus on them rather than putting on a show.  Seann continues to receive accolades from his clients helping to take away the stress of planning and giving it his all at every event.

Seann and his wife have four dogs who keep the house busy.

Lorenzo Ursini

Lorenzo has been with Music Mixers for over 10 years. He serves as our Technical Manager helping to coordinate any audio/visual needs.  Having been in the Entertainment Division of Foxwoods for 20+ years, Lorenzo brings a wealth of knowledge to Music Mixers.  He is our primary resource for any of our larger corporate events.  In addition, there's a good chance you'll run into Lorenzo should you decide to purchase our Photo Booth solution.  Lorenzo helps guests and gets them ready for the fun the Photo Booth provides.

Lorenzo and his wife care for their three children.  He is an active dad serving as a coach for Little League and other sporting endeavors his kids decide to join.
